The promise in the title, that of interdisciplinarity, is fully kept as the book consists of contributions from diverse academic disciplines. The book recognizes the complexity of these overlapping dimensions, and the readers will find a well-balanced selection which, whilst avoiding theoretical heavy-handedness, comprehensively engages with the themes. Throughout, it proves to be a productive critical resource, while simultaneously demonstrating a solid grasp on the interweaving of the three concepts, presented in disparate angles. The articulation of the three concepts is complemented by a variated of approaches and this is the book’s strongest feature, which will undoubtedly be of interest to academics from various fields.
